The Pink Ranch celebrates MLK vision and courage. His life has been an example in commitment and love. There is no justice without equality. There is no true freedom without equality.

Here Here! I could not agree more. A great man. I didn't really understand that he was only 37 when he was cut down. Now that I am well past that age, I grok just how much more he could have given to the world, how greatly we all -- and the progress of human kind -- were robbed of the gifts he could have given had he been graced with a full life span.
Even as I write that, I do know that sometimes the early death of someone maximizes their impact, allowing them to reach perhaps further into the future than their acts might, had they lived (and been able to make mistakes or fade).

Hallo there PC,
Here via janelle's blog. So glad to have found you too.
Isn't the blog world a wonderous thing? I left the UK 7 yrs ago to live in Australia and now have found gorgeous bloggers all over the world!
Your blog is such a welcoming place. I shall be back.
Thankyou for the MLK post I too, did not know he was so young when he left us.
Yes, those of us who remember the dream are thrilled to see it happening!
Wouldn't he be thrilled with the events of the coming week? Lovely tribute.
How honorable. Dr.King is truly an extraordinary man. And to think that President Obama will be acting out an entire generation's dream.
This world is slowly maturing.
The thought gives me shivers.
Excellent post, I bow to your class and timeliness sir.
Ever Yours,
